Overview
This transformer is designed to convert 3-phase 480v to 3-phase 240v to run equipment such as panels, motors, CNC machines, welders, conveyor systems, pumps, printing equipment, fabrication tools, cryptocurrency miners, datacenter equipment, and other business machines.
Primary Voltage: 480 Delta
Secondary Voltage: 240 Delta / 120
This model comes with a center tap (AKA lighting tap) to run 1-phase 120v power off the secondary. The center tap can provide 5% of the total kVA rating without taking away from the overall capacity.
This transformer can be reverse fed to achieve a step up from 240V to 480V, but the adjustment taps do not work if you do this, and the inrush is greater than using a specially designed step-up transformer.

The 120v lighting tap is intended for small ancillary 1-phase power needs (such as lighting, and outlets) and can support loads of up to 5% of the total amperage of the transformer. Loading the 120v lighting tap over 5% will result in a de-rating the total kVA.
