Do you stock 1200 amp switches?
No, Maddox stocks 600 amp 5 and 15 kV switches and 200 amp 5kV mini switches. Maddox offers 1200 amp switches, but they are made-to-order.
PME Equivalency
Are these equivalent to PME designs?
Yes, stock Maddox pad-mounted switchgear units are equivalent to standard PME designs. Let your rep know which ME design you need and they’ll provide an equivalent option.
15kV Switch Fuse
Do standard pad-mounted 15kV switches offer fusing above 200amps?
While the switch is rated for 600 amps, fuse manufacturers of common SMU-20, DBU, and CMU fuses do not manufacture sizes above 200 amps, so the industry is limited to 200 amps for this type of fusing which is used in standard pad-mounted designs.
